The proposal to extend the existing Medical Centre (840m2) as part of the Midland Health model for 5 main medical facilities within Hamilton's suburbs.  Hillcrest will serve as an equivalent to Waikato Hospital in the event of a major event in the area.

The Centre will expend the current general practice over the two storey rear extension of 1217m2.  The existing pharmacy, physiotherapist and dental practice will also increase in size.  In addition the client plans to house a Pathlab and a podiatrist.

The proposal is to establish a Childcare Facility for 45 children; and 3 industrial units with associated parking and landscape.

This proposal is to replace the approved static billboard with a smaller electronic sign on the façade of the building with an LED variable display billboard. The billboard will comprise a number of self-illuminated LED panels fixed together to form a single billboard of a smaller size to the approved.
