Our Projects

The existing Church was constructed back in 1987, and has served the community well since that date.

The congregation has grown in size, necessitating an extension to the 226sq.metre building area. That Church extension requires some architectural sensitivity with respect to the building's massing, the building's iconography, and the links between the existing and new spaces.

The arrival at Maru Road is from the north, and there is a need to display the Christian cross in some large delivery on arrival.

The subdivision is based on a good quality urban design to deliver the Council’s Vision for a smart, liveable city which is attractive, well-designed and compact with a strong sense of place; and has taken into account the elements such as streetscape, walkability, sustainable design, mixed-use development, ‘active edges’ of building frontages, and people’s safety and accessibility.  The non-regulatory City Design Guide VISTA has been used that highlights key urban design principles considered fundamental to Hamilton’s development as a prosperous, memorable and sustainable city.

The proposal is to construct a third dwelling on a 117ha parcel of land that has access to Piako Road.
