Childcare Facility
The applicant sought to change the use from Car-sales yard to Childcare Centre.
The site was ideal for a Childcare Centre due to its size, location and the parking availability.
The Applicant’s expectation was that activities at the centre will normally involve:
- 25 children under 2yrs of age and 75 over 2 yrs
- 5 staff for under 2yrs children and 8 staff for over 2 yrs
- Intended hours of operation: 7.30am to 6.00pm
- Drop off & pickup times: 7.30am and 6.00pm
- Time & types of outdoor activity: Under 2yrs of age 10am to 11.15am and 3.15pm to 4.15pm. Over 2 yrs of age 10.30am to 11.45am and 3.30pm to 5.00pm
- Dates & types of special events: maybe Christmas party, grand opening for early part of 2014 and parents evening twice year
