  • This warehousing is not like traditional Building improvement centres where the business is see and collect (cash and carry), it promotes off samples in the showrooms to retail customers or from standard design ranges with the volume builders (about 40% who do not even come to the showroom)
  • It is a destination shop. Customers only renovate/Tile every 5 to 10 years or longer due to 60 year plus life expectancy of tile so the shop does not get high volumes of small value purchases like a cushion a nut or a pipe.
  • Customer interaction is limited mainly to the showroom
  • It will not be limited to just tile and stone retailing and trade sales if possible but a wider description that would clearly exclude other larger type operation .  So names are required maybe Building improvement centre-Medium Sized in this case Tile and stone retail , trade wholesale storage and supply.
  • The building will be improved with glass frontage.
